CBME China 2018, the must-attend child, baby and maternity products industry trade event, gathered 3,065 local and international exhibitors showcasing 4332 brands. 95,518 visitors from all over the world joined industry leaders, brands and thought-leaders in Shanghai last July 25-27.

2018 CBME China exhibition featured 3,065 exhibitors with 4,332 brands from all over the world so as to address new national market demands.

● International Pavilions: In 2018, CBME China featured 14 international pavilions and 649 brands from Australia, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, North America, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, United Kingdom and more conntries and regions.
● Cool Kids Fashion Shanghai 2018: More than 105 kids fashion brands from 17 countries and regions showcased their latest collections. Other highlights included Kids Fashion Design Contest/Gallery, Trend Forums, Kids Fashion Shows and more.
Events at CBME China 2018 to help industry discern trends and promote development
● CBME China Industry Summits and Seminars 2018 took on the theme “Follow the Trend, Seize the Moment”. 32 experts from child, baby and maternity products and related industries including investment, commercial real estate, e-commerce and consulting companies shared the latest market trends and case studies and discussed different issues affecting the industry. Speakers included: Andy Zhao, President, Nielsen China; Frank Qu, President of the Greater China, Wyeth Nutrition (China) Co., Ltd; Iceyes Wei, Director, Taobao – Customer Market; Ling Li, China's Department Store Industry Leading Expert, Consultant of Linkshop; Michael Chen, Partner, Warburg Pincus LLC; Zheng Mianmian, WGSN Trend Director; Lvy Li, Publisher and Chief Editor, OK!Magazine China and OK!Baby Magazine China; marketing senior lecturers; Visiting Professors from Tsinghua University and Peking University and more.
● CBME AWARDS 2018 short-listed entries were displayed at the CBME AWARDS Gallery. These awards aims to recognize the companies and individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the industry in China and across the world. Awards include "10-Year Industry Service Awards ", "20-Year Industry Service Awards", "Best Corporate Social Responsibility Awards ", "Innovative Products Awards” and more.
● Museum & Culture in Shanghai Style" Shanghai Creative Design Contest for Kids Fashion in cooperation with Shanghai Museum, 10 National Treasures were selected as inspiration for contestants to use and create new designs for kids fashion. Recognition of the value of traditional Chinese art and cultural heritage and their inclusion in the children’s fashion designs could boost the opportunities for further development of the market licensing for child, baby and maternity products.
● A series of business matching sessions have been organized with local and international visitors including retailers, distributors, e-commerce companies, supermarkets/hypermarkets, department stores, commercial real estate.

● Best Baby Products Store Sales Person Awards Judging and awarding of the 22 winners were finished on 26 July 2018 in North Hall Dome and gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to the top three.
Protecting intellectual property and promoting industrial upgrading
CBME China continues to cooperate with authoritative departments to protect intellectual property. 5 IP-related complaints were effectively dealt with during CBME China 2018. Over all the efforts for protection of industrial intellectual property have improved as a result of which complaints have been reduced over the past year.
