America holiday online shopping rises 16% year-on-year, toys listing on the top
comScore, a U.S. research company currently issued online shopping records showing that the amount of U.S. online shopping consumption reached 38.7 billion USD from 1st Nov. to 21st Dec. 2012, growing 16% from 2011.
According to the research, the most obvious growth happened a week before Christmas (17th, Nov. – 21st, Dec. 2012), since the online consumption for this week rose up to 53% by comparison to last year’s. The data also showed that web visits for jewelry and luxuries rose up to 26%, and toys/electric products were listed on the top of visiting lists as well.
