Trends and innovations for babies arrive in Brazil
The subject can be pacifiers and bottles, but the market for childcare is far from immature. The market is already out of diapers for a long time and today handles more than 1 billion Reais per year, according to the Brazilian Association for Infant Products (Abrapur).
The first edition of CBME (Children Baby and Maternity Expo) South America, held in 2013, was a success. For three days, over a hundred brands were on display and thousands of buyers came from all over Brazil.
Held annually in Asia and Europe, CBME South America is the only business fair in South America specialized in the entire line of products for babies and early childhood. The second edition of the event, which takes place August 26-28 at Transamerica Expo (SP), will gather all retail channels for baby and children products, generating business and investment to a sector that is growing every year.
“For those working with products for babies, CBME South America is the right choice. On the part of some companies coming from abroad, a common characteristic is the desire of business debut in the Brazilian market or expand them,” says Marlon Luft, event manager.
