Explore Mother and Baby Industry in China – UK Session【Event Review】

On January 24, 2024, the “Explore Mother and Baby Industry in China – UK Session” organized by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) in cooperation with CBME successfully ended. This webinar aims to help UK brands and partners have deeper understanding of China’s children, baby, and maternity market, so as to enter the Chinese market more efficiently and quickly. Nearly 40 industry insiders participated in the webinar, and the participants said that they had benefited a lot.

Ms. Rebecca Li, Senior Trade and Investment Officer of the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), shared the overview of DBT and its service sector, the UK exhibition group successfully cooperated with CBME, and gave suggestions for overseas brands to enter the Chinese market.

Ms. Celia Gu, General Manager of Informa Markets China (Hangzhou), shared her views on China’s economic background, opportunities in the children, baby and maternity market, consumer groups, consumer behaviors, channels, Informa Markets, and CBME China, and answered many questions about UK brands entering the Chinese market.

Mr. Hugh Zhou, General Manager of Hangzhou Rongshang Trading Co., Ltd., participated in the event as a special guest, sharing successful cases and giving feasible suggestions based on the company’s own experience in assisting overseas brands to enter the Chinese market.

After the meeting, the participants said that they had gained a lot and had a great interest in China’s children, baby, and maternity market, and were willing to further communicate with us.
